Film opens on an old woman sitting cross-legged on the floor.
There is a small kid lying in her lap covered with her sari and she is thumping it and shaking her leg narrating a story.
“Fir magarmach ne apna mooh khola…”
She stops and looks at the kid, patting it affectionately.
“Arrey so gayi? Hmm. Chalo baki ki kahani kal.”
She bends down and picks up the corner of her sari covering the kids face.
We see that instead of an actual kid, there is a doll in her lap.
Super- “Many aged Indians live in a make-believe world to fight against the solitude of their real one.”
She kisses the doll on its forehead.

She has a bowl filled with cornflakes and milk in one hand and a spoon in other.
She has the spoon hand stretched as in feeding somebody.
“Chalo dadi ne ankhen band ki… Chotu nahi khaeyga to kawa kha jayega…”
she stretches the hand further and suddenly the spoon falls.
Camera opens up to reveal that the object she is trying to feed is not a kid but a doll.

He is apparently swinging a small kid on his legs.
He is chuckling to himself as he is doing that.

Camera opens up to reveal that the object he is sxwinging is not a kid but a doll.

She kisses the doll on its forehead.
